What is the minimum and maximum age required to rent a vehicle?
Renters must be 25 years or older. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a required interval between bookings?
Yes — there is a 2-hour interval between bookings to allow for proper inspection and preparation.

A security deposit may be required at the time of booking.
What is the shortest and longest rental duration allowed?
Shortest rental: 1 day
Longest rental: 3 weeks (a new rental agreement is required after 3 weeks)
How are sales tax, coupons, and additional fees applied?
A 7.38% sales tax is applied to all rentals. Any additional fees (such as mileage or cleaning) will be clearly itemized in your rental agreement.
How many miles are included with the rental?
Each rental includes 250 miles per day. Additional mileage is billed at $0.35 per mile.
What are your standard business hours?
Our hours of operation are 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
What are the allowed pick-up and return times?
Pick-ups and returns are generally available between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
Do you allow pick-ups and returns outside business hours?
Yes — with advance notice and approval.
What delivery locations do you offer, and what are the fees for each?
However, delivery may be available with advance notice and prior agreement. Please contact us to discuss your location and applicable fees.
Is there a specific schedule for custom deliveries?
Custom deliveries must be arranged in advance and agreed to by Steff Motors.
Are there any important extra details renters should know?
Pre-Paid Gas: $55
Refueling Fee: $15 + cost of fuel if the car is returned less than full
Late Fee: $25 per day
Retrieval Fee: $100 if Steff Motors must recover the vehicle
Do you offer additional equipment or services? Are there any related fees?
Yes. Private For-Hire Car Service is available upon request (rates vary).
What is the cost for an additional driver?
$25 per additional driver.
What are the penalties or fees for smoking in the vehicle?
Absolutely no smoking or vaping in any Steff Motors vehicle. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.
Are there any fees associated with EZ Pass or toll usage?
Renters are responsible for all tolls incurred during the rental period. Please ensure tolls are paid promptly to avoid additional charges.
Is there a cleaning fee? Under what conditions is it charged?
We work hard to ensure every vehicle is spotless before each rental. Please return it in similar condition.
Cleaning Fees:
Moderate Cleaning ($50): Mud, sand, minor odors, or small spills
Heavy Cleaning ($100): Stains, smoke odors, or bug debris
Severe Cleaning ($150): Steam cleaning or full detailing due to damage
Pet Hair Removal ($150): For vehicles returned with pet hair
Multiple Issues Cleaning ($250): Applies when several cleaning levels are required
Extremely Dirty: $200
Filthy: $300+
If a vehicle is returned excessively dirty (e.g., beach sand, sunscreen residue), a $250 detail fee will apply.
🐶 Pets: We love animals, but please keep your FURfriends at home to maintain our vehicles in pristine condition.
🚭 No Smoking: Smoking (including cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, or vapes) is strictly prohibited. Trying to mask odors with air fresheners won’t work — non-smokers can always tell. A $200–$250 fee will apply if any smoking is detected.
